Our Founder
Sri D.K. Murthy was born in a Small village Dasanapura, Tumkur District as third son of Smt. Mangamma and Sri Kondappa. His parents were poor Agriculturist.
In his life time he worked for social welfare and built up an Institution named Sri Lakshmi Ranganatha Education Society (Regd.) R.P.C. Layout, Bangalore 560 104, with Kannada and English Medium Nursery, Primary, High School and Hindi Vidhyalaya, more than thousand students are studying in this Institution and nearly fifty teaching staffs are leading their lives in the name of Sri D.K. Murthy.
He was the founder of many temples like Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, Sri Ranganatha Swamy etc. both in and around the Bangalore City. And was awarded many titles like "Kynkarya Shiromany" for his social work.
Sri D.K. Murthy lead a simple and disciplined life. He worked for the poor until his last breath.
